Experimenting with Alcohol
There are many ways to experiment with drinking and I am always in search of new ways on how to consume alcohol. Sometimes you have to step out your comfort zone mine being drinking alcohol straight. In stepping out of my comfort zone I have searched for different ways to spice up some parties.
I stumbled across a few interesting things the one that lit up my mind was Vodka Gummy Bears. Yes I still have a sweet tooth even at this age. Sweets and vodka what a different mix and the great thing is that it’s not complicated to create at all!!! Simply get a glass bowl, fill with gummy bears and soak with vodka or any alcohol of your choice. Then wrap it up and put in the fridge. A couple days later the gummy bears will have soaked up the alcohol and wallah you have Vodka Gummy bears. Very easy way to change up the way you consume your alcohol.
Continuing my search I stumbled across another simple way in beer ice-lollies. I recommend Desperadoes because I like the flavour. Just get some Popsicle moulds, fill with the beer of your choice and put in the freezer. Then Hey pressco… beer ice-lollies!!! Obviously, these are more attractive in the summer. However, what a way to keep summer going, you may need to turn the heating on full blast though lol.
Finally this one is a bit more complicated, but if done right they are amazing… Strawberry Jello shots…. Firstly, you need to get strawberries and make them into a shell you do this simply by cutting of the tops and spooning out the middle – they will have to be quite large strawberries. Then make jelly the normal way by boiling water and adding strawberry jelly. Then the twist, yes of course there is a twist… Pour a nice sized cup of vodka into it. Before it settles spoon the mix into the strawberries and bung it in the fridge.
Try these, even if it’s just once. You never know if you will like it unless you try… Please leave a comment and let me know how it went. Stay tuned for Experimenting with Alcohol 2 where I will tell you more on how to consume alcohol.
